A Note to Our Clients Regarding Internet Explorer

As of January 12, 2016, Microsoft stopped supporting Internet Explorer (IE), choosing Microsoft Edge as its modern browser. Internet Explorer 11 is still available, but it is only a legacy browser to allow companies using outdated web applications, to still support their use.

So, what does this actually mean? This means that Microsoft is not supporting Internet Explorer with new or updated web standards. As the internet and websites become more advanced, the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser cannot support it. Simply put, Internet Explorer remains available as a compatibility solution for older applications, but should no longer be used for day-to-day browsing activity.

Are you still using internet explorer? If so, you may find some parts of our website don’t work for you, such as our new reports. Problems such as this, are related to the IE browser and not our system. Dunk & Associates/Systems 24-7 does not provide support for Internet Explorer-related issues. As Microsoft doesn’t provide the necessary updates to support the browser, this means we have no control over how our applications perform on it.

Dunk & Associates is happy to recommend the use of any of the following internet browsers: Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, or Google Chrome. Using any of these recommended browsers will ensure smooth use of your site.
