How did we get here?
Back in the 1900’s… okay, we’re not that old. Back in 1999, our founder realized the only way to get health and safety advice came at a high cost through private consultants. It was in that moment Systems 24-7 was born. We believe in providing expert advice and guidance at an affordable rate so that every organization can have an effective health and safety program.

Health and Safety, Workplace Leadership and the Post-Pandemic/Endemic Workplace
Jeremy Warning and Deanah Shelly, HR Lawyers, Mathews Dinsdale & Clark LLP
It has been a challenging time for workplace leadership. With workers moving between working remotely and in-person, the implementation and relaxation of COVID-prevention requirements, and with issues lingering from the pandemic, supervisors and managers have had to rapidly adjust to and address issues that may not have been encountered before – or not encountered on such scale. The government too has been reacting to the pandemic. As workplaces return to more and more pre-pandemic activities and manage the effects of the endemic stage of COVID, workplace leadership should take stock of some of the lessons learned and reflect on best practices to minimize risk. In this session, two experienced health and safety lawyers will discuss:
-
The Occupational Health and Safety Act and remote work;
-
Challenges in the pandemic and post-pandemic workplace; and
-
Best practices to avoid common mistakes by supervisors and managers in managing health and safety risks.
