It’s hard to believe that 2021 has come and gone and we’ve all managed to survive another year full of challenges. While 2022 will likely pose similar challenges, it is important to embrace the new year and a new set of topics for 2022!
Depending on your enrollment dates with us, you may be at various stages in your HSEp journey. However, the majority of our members will be starting fresh in 2022 and will be selecting new topics. If you did not attend our Guidance and Instruction webinar held on December 14th, no need to worry! The webinar was recorded and can be found on the Dunk Excellence Portal along with many other resources.
As you begin the process of selecting topics for the current year, you may be asking yourself “how do I create a work plan that meets the requirements of the topics I am going to select?” Great question! We know it’s not an easy decision and there are many factors to consider. Below are a few things to keep in mind:
Is the topic new or do I have to complete a Topic Approval Form?
Do I fully understand the requirements of the topic?
What timelines will I have to determine?
Will my plan fall within my registration period?
As we commence our third year in the program, we’ve listened to our members feedback and we are here to help. Instead of countless emails back and forth when trying to get a work plan approved, we have a new and improved process. You will start the workplan process by selecting topics, completing a workplan and potentially Topic Approval Forms (if topics are not new). Don’t worry about making it perfect right away, Dunk will review your submission and set up a call to discuss and finalize workplan. Keep in mind, that doesn’t mean you can send in one or two word answers or a partially completed workplan. Provide as much detail as you can to help us understand why these topics are important in your workplace and include some quantitative or qualitative data to back up your story. The rest will come together quickly.
For those of you who are in the implementation process of HSEp, this will apply when selecting new topics for the following year of enrollment.
