Effective February 14th, the WSIB is making a change to the Health and Safety Excellence program (HSEp) digital portal login process. Users will login through the WSIB online services website and will have access to the HSEp Digital Portal along with other WSIB services such as Compass under your one account.
This change in process will make it easier to find and access the HSEp Digital Portal and will also make logging in more secure and straightforward to access all of WSIB other online services such as Compass.
What do you need to know?
As of February 14th, you will now access the HSEp digital portal through wsib.ca/onlineservices or if the link does not work for you, by clicking on the “Log in” button at the top of every page on the WSIB website ( https://www.wsib.ca/en ) .
There will be no change to how the portal operates, only the login process. Once you have logged into the HSEp Digital Portal or Compass interfaces, the functionality will remain the same.
WSIB should have already sent an email the week of January 24th to January 28th to all employer representatives who have registered in the digital portal. They will provide you with information on the change to the digital portal login and include step-by-step instructions on how to sign up for an online services account. It’s important you sign up using the same email address you used to access the digital tool.
WSIB will send a second email to all members the week before the launch – Encouraging you to sign up (if you haven’t already done so) and provide step-by-step instructions.
WSIB will send a third email on launch day, February 14th, with step-by-step sign-up instructions and information on how to access the digital tool from the online services landing page.
WSIB will be closely monitoring member registrations and will reach out with additional support – including possible 1:1 help – if needed, after the launch.
What you need to do?
By February 14th, you will need to create an account on the WSIB Online Services site to access the HSEp digital portal. We encourage you to do this now in anticipation of the implementation date to avoid any login problems once the change goes live.
